Play Smarter Campaign Launched

Last night (Thursday 6th September) AFL Riverina launched the ‘Play Smarter’ campaign as part of the AFL Riverina Club Health Services Strategy.

The 60 second ad aired on Channel 7 last night during the AFL Qualifying Final between Richmond and Hawthorn and will run for the remainder of the AFL Finals Series.

The campaign consists of key football and netball personalities from the Riverina including Shane Lenon, Julie Cornell, Jade Hodge, Jayden Klemke, Emily O’Leary and Gavin McMahon delivering a simple message to make smarter decisions on and off the field.

The ‘Play Smarter’ campaigns comes off the back of the $10,000 grant to the Local Drug Action Team which would fund developing a local Community Action Plan to educate the community to prevent and reduce the anti-social behaviour emanating from alcohol and other drugs in the community.
