SNSW Women’s Competition off and running!

The T at the Big M SNSW Women’s Competition has started with a bang with two rounds now complete. The early pace setters are clearly the North Wagga Saints who have two wins from two and are playing an exciting and infectious brand of football.

East Wagga Kooringal also registered their first win of the season this past Friday night against newcomers Narrandera to keep their undefeated start to the season going and share a 100 percent win loss record with the saints, CSU and the Riverina Lions who enjoyed the bye this week and will be looking forward to next Friday’s clash with the Eagles at Gumly Oval where they will be keen to continue their winning ways.

Friday also brings two mouth-watering games that should paint a clear picture of who should be considered the genuine favourites for the competition as East Wagga Kooringal host CSU and the Griffith Swans take on North Wagga in a must win game.

Make sure you get to your local ground to see some fantastic women’s football action.
