WWCC recongized for contribution

AFL NSW/ACT representatives Jason McPherson and Paul Habel presented Wagga Wagga Mayor Ron Kendall with a ACFC Match Ball to recongize the efforts made by council for the Australian Country Football Championships held in Wagga Wagga earlier this year.

Wagga Wagga City Council contributed financially to the carnival and helped with facility development to both Maher Oval and McPherson Oval. Without the help of the WWCC, the ACFC would not have been the success it was hailed to be.

Both AFL NSW/ACT and the WWCC attention will now turn to hosting both the GWS Giants and Brisbane Lions Football clubs next March for the NAB CUP Match to be held at Robertson Oval.
