Homegrown talent return to Wagga
Four homegrown talents will return to southern NSW as Anthony Miles, Kurt Aylett, Jacob Townsend and Mark Whiley take to the field at Robertson Oval against the Brisbane Lions.
“To have Anthony Miles, Kurt Aylett, Jacob Townsend, and Mark Whiley all from the Riverina playing this weekend and representing our footy club is great and they’re very much looking forward to strutting their stuff on Saturday night,” said Senior Assistant Coach Leon Cameron.
“This is a big event for Wagga and the GIANTS are proud of our partnership with the city which has a great sporting history and we look forward to playing in front a capacity crowd at Robertson Oval.”
GIANTS TV will bring you all the LIVE action from 7pm for Round 2 of the 2013 NAB Cup as the GIANTS take on the Brisbane Lions from Robertson Oval in Wagga Wagga.
Special commentary will be provided by GIANTS Chief Operating Officer and the former CEO of AFL Queensland, Richard Griffiths.
