Also playing at 11am will be the AFL Riverina Lions ladies and a team from ANU in the ACT.
All games will be played at different times from the usual with the Under 17s kicking the dew off the ground at 9.10am, followed by the ladies game,
then reserve grade at 12.45pm and first grade at 2.30pm.
Netball will also be much earlier with C Grade at 9am, B Grade at 10am and A Grade at 12pm.
In the seniors, the Saints have not had their most successful season but will be more than solid at their home ground with a large crowd expected as
the Saints hold their 1973, 1983 and 1993 (Reserves) premiership reunions.
The North Wagga club has also arranged for their ball on Saturday night so they will have plenty of encouragement from the side lines and also plenty of reasons to go all out against the ‘Roos.
Temora will have some regular players on the side lines with Coach Mark Kruger, Josh Hagar, Sam Fisher and Scott Blackwell all carrying and
recovering from injuries.
These are big exclusions for the Kangaroos and the
old cliché rings true that this looms as a real danger game for Temora who
will have their work cut-out for them.
This situation opens up positives though as Temora’s depth of players can be called upon with Daniel Reid back on deck this week. Under 17s players Brendan Heinjus, Jack Irvine and Daniel Leary will all play Saturday’s round 14 match which is a positive sign of the club’s junior base.
Ruckman Chris Stacey will also be unavailable this weekend but other players such as Charlie Vallance and Matt Harpley can be used to give Sam Broomby a breather from ruck duties.
The Reserve grade game should be a massive tussle as the Saints are only one game behind the first placed ‘Roos and are also not very far behind them on percentage.
A previously mentioned, nothing is a given or foregone conclusion and the
run home will be hard work for the Kangaroos.
Big preparations are underway for the Ladies Pink Day which will be held on
Saturday August 3rd when the ‘Roos host East Wagga-Kooringal at Nixon Park.

The junior club will travel to Leeton for their games before the finals
series commences on Saturday, August 3rd.
In the wake of Mark Kruger’s thirteen goals at CSU several weeks ago,
information was handed in that Garry Block kicked 32 or 33 goals against
South Wagga-Tolland in the very late ‘70s or early ‘80s so that has raised
the goal kicking stakes considerably. Garry will be interviewed to get the
exact details and a kick by kick report at some stage.
