2014 AFL NSW/ACT Raffle

The 2014 AFL NSW/AC T Raffle will again include some amazing prizes including four tickets to the 2014 Toyota AFL Grand Final, with accommodation and travel included, in addition to a long list of “money can’t buy” prizes, including match day experiences, signed jumpers, and tickets to Sydney Swans and GWS Giants games. For a full list of prizes, please see the attached flyer.
The raffle process includes:
• 20 tickets per raffle book
• Tickets sold for $3 per ticket
• Clubs can order books at a minimum of 15 books per Club for initial orders
• Clubs requiring more books can order a minimum of 5 books per additional order
• After the raffle is drawn, Clubs will be invoiced $20 per book ordered, whether they are sold or not – please keep this in mind when requesting your tickets.
• The Club will retain $40 for every book sold
• All books with tickets sold and unsold will need to be returned and any unsold tickets will be allocated to the ordering club when prizes are drawn
• Please do not send cash or cheques to AFL (NSW/ACT), retain all money raised and your Club will be invoiced after the raffle is drawn. We will not accept cash or cheques with your ticket stubs, these will be returned to you in the mail.
The tentative timeline for the raffle is:
• April : Raffle books ordered, distributed and sold
• July 31 – Deadline for raffle books to be returned to AFL (NSW/ACT)
• August 1 – Raffle will be drawn and winners notified by August 4th
Several Clubs earned over $1000 in the 2013 raffle, so there is potential for significant profit by participating. We encourage Clubs to get involved in the AFL NSW/ACT Raffle as part of your 2014 Club Fundraising Plan.
