The Crows, who have a history of strong performances against the GIANTS, kicked the opening seven goals of the match.
 
The GIANTS could have interrupted that run sooner if it weren’t for some errant kicking, entering the quarter time huddle with 0.8 on the scoreboard.
 
The Crows were just shy of eight goals up at half time and looked comfortable thereafter.
 
Tim Mohr did a good job holding Crows forward Taylor Walker goalless, while Adam Treloar produced 10 clearances from 31 disposals.
 
Rory Sloane was lively for the visitors with 32 disposals and two goals. Team mate Eddie Betts kicked five goals.
 
The GIANTS now face the tough assignment of traveling to face Fremantle.
 
West Coast Eagles 7.9 (51) def. by Sydney Swans 10.19 (79)
 
The Swans are outright leaders atop the AFL ladder after a 28-point win over West Coast.
 
They were made to work for the win after the Eagles kicked the first goal of the match and wouldn’t allow the visitors to build up much of a buffer as the game wore on.
 
The Swans’ match-winners stepped up, though, with Luke Parker’s early fourth quarter goal setting up a quickly flurry of goals that would put the game beyond doubt.
 
Parker was instrumental in the win with 33 disposals – 22 contested – and two majors.
 
Jarrad McVeigh had 27 disposals and 10 tackles, Adam Goodes kicked three goals and Craig Bird had 11 clearances.
 
The Swans will look to make it 12 in a row when they host Carlton at the SCG on Saturday night.

Zac Williams (Narrandera) was among the GIANTS’ best in just his third game for the year – having 20 disposals, eight rebound 50s and six marks.
 
Taylor Walker (North Broken Hill) had 12 disposals and three inside 50s for the Crows.
 
Jarrad McVeigh (Pennant Hills) had 27 disposals and 10 tackles for the Swans. Ben McGlynn (Wentworth) kicked 2.3 along with his 27 touches.
 
Craig Bird (Nelson Bay) had 11 clearances and eight tackles with his 27 touches. Dane Rampe (UNSW-ES Bulldogs) had 22 touches and a goal.
 
Brandon Jack (Pennant Hills) laid seven tackles. Kieren Jack (Pennant Hills) had 19 touches.
 
Anthony Miles (North Albury) saw 24 touches and six marks for Richmond in the win over Brisbane.
 
Jarrod Witts (St Ives) had 33 hitouts and 12 touches for Collingwood in the loss to Gold Coast.
 
Hamish McIntosh (Lavington) tapped 32 hitouts and took four marks for Geelong in the win over the Western Bulldogs. Tom Hawkins (Finley) kicked 2.1 and had five marks.
 
Matt Suckling (Wagga Tigers) picked up 20 disposals at 80 percent efficiency for Hawthorn in their loss to North Melbourne. Isaac Smith (Temora) had 17 disposals.
 
Luke Breust (Temora) kicked 1.0, making it 27 goals in a row without a behind. Taylor Duryea (Wahgunyah) had 10 touches.
 
Sam Rowe (North Albury) had 14 touches and eight marks for Carlton in their win over St Kilda.
 
Adam Schneider (Osborne) had 17 disposals and a goal for the Saints.
 
Dean Terlich (Osborne) picked up 18 disposals and generated four clearances for Melbourne in their loss to Fremantle.
