NSW/ACT Youth Girls make history

Hay Lions star Jodie Hicks kicked the first goal for NSW/ACT, breaking through a pack to slot it through.
She didn’t waste much time in getting her second on the board either, slotting a goal from 40 metres out on the run.
NSW/ACT looked dominant from the outset, maintaining the majority of possession for the first quarter.
The combined Northern Territory and Tasmanian side got their first major on the board in the second half through Maddi Smith (2).
Erin McKinnon played a fantastic game in the ruck for the winning side, clearing the centre clearances and also providing plenty of assistance around the ground.
NSW/ACT did not concede the lead throughout the match, but a great contested mark and goal from Rebecca Beeson (4) put the game out of doubt in the 6th minute of the final term.
