Michael Gibbons

Coolamon junior Michael Gibbons is a two-time J.J. Liston Trophy winner who finally got his chance at the elite level to become of the feel-good stories of 2019. Long considered the best player in the VFL, Gibbons got his shot at the Blues as a supplementary selection period (SSP) pick-up in February: he went onto miss the final game of the season and kick 16 goals from 21 games.
